“Optics research in industry is sometimes perceived as being limited to a few sets of areas such as lens design and laser optics. However, optics is at the forefront of many technological advances across various industries. In this talk, I will share my journey from entrepreneurship, semiconductor, and consumer electronic industries. We will drive into an example of the exciting computational lithography optics research behind the latest integrated circuits. Finally, I will share my perspective on the different dimensions of industry research and provide some career advice for those interested in venturing into this space,” said Dr. Jose Dominguez-Caballero
About Dominguez-Caballero
Dominguez‐Caballero is an optics expert with over 10 years of industry experience including large corporations such as Intel Corp as well as co‐founding technology startup PointSpectrum. He holds a Ph.D. from MIT where he focused on developing novel optical holographic processes for imaging and lithography.
