What is Electricaland Computer Engineering?
Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) is a diverse field that enables engineers to invent, design, develop and test a wide range of new technologies that improve lives. Computer engineers address all aspects of computer organization, design, and programming, and electrical engineers utilize electricity, electric materials, and electrical and magnetic phenomena, like radio waves and signals to develop innovative solutions to some of the world’s greatest problems.
In 2021, computer engineering was ranked the 3rd most valuable college major, while electrical engineering ranked 6th and held the highest median income.
