HOW TO APPLY TO THE BS/MS COMBINED PROGRAM

FOLLOW THESE STEPS DURING YOUR JUNIOR & SENIOR YEAR:

    1. After your junior year, complete the Application for Admission to candidacy for the combined BS/MS degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering and (provide it to who?)
    2. Meet with an (undergraduate or graduate?) advisor who will help you find a faculty mentor that will provide approval for you to enroll in graduate courses during your senior year.
    3. Once approved, you can enroll in up to 12 credit hours of MS coursework.
    4. You must also complete a Request for Graduate Credit in BS/MS Program by September of your first semester in the BS/MS Program. The document should be signed by your undergraduate advisor and supervisory committee chair.
    5. (To stay enrolled in the combined program?) Students must earn a B grade or higher (in all MS courses?)

FOLLOW THESE STEPS ONCE YOUR UNDERGRADUATE DEGREE IS COMPLETE:

    1. After completing at least one semester (12 credit hours) (of MS courses?), students should submit a Graduate Application. Follow the guidelines listed on our Graduate Admissions page closely to ensure you provide all necessary documents and meet the application deadline.
    2. Once you have completed all BS (minimum of 122 credit hours) and MS coursework, you can apply for graduation and receive both degrees simultaneously. You must apply for each degree separately and cannot be awarded your degrees in different semesters.
