Feb 22
Afternoon/Evening

    • 3PM – Hotel Check-In (for those flying in we will arrange a shuttle)
    • 6PM – Dinner with department groups in Downtown Salt Lake City
    • Return to hotel/free time
Friday
Feb 23
Morning

    • 8AM – Breakfast with all PhD applicants to the University of Utah’s College of Engineering
    • 9AM – Meet with Dr. Hanseup Kim – Electrical and Computer Engineering Department Chair
    • 10 AM – Scheduled meetings with professors and lab tours

Afternoon

    • Lunch with Electrical and Computer Engineering Faculty
    • Scheduled meetings with professors and campus tour

Evening

    • Dinner with current graduate student research groups
    • Return to hotel/free time
Saturday
Feb 24
Morning

    • Breakfast in Downtown Salt Lake City
    • Scenic mountain drive
    • 10 AM-12PM Winter Tubing at Soldier Hollow

Afternoon

    • Lunch in Park City
    • Free time/Drop-offs to activities of candidates choosing (i.e., Natural History Museum, Red Butte Gardens, Capitol, City Creek Center, or The Gateway)

Evening

    • Dinner in Downtown Salt Lake City
    • Return to hotel/free time

Feb 25
Morning/Afternoon

    • 12PM Hotel Check-Out (for those flying out we will provide a shuttle to the airport)

Things to do in Salt Lake City


In the evenings and Saturday afternoon there will be free time for you to get out and explore SLC on your own.

Out-of-state invitees will be in the SLC Marriott City Center located at 220 S. State Street in the Free Fare Zone (between City Center and Gallivan Plaza Stations).
